Sycamore has transitioned into a Mico-Finance Bank structure and this means that we now issue account numbers directly to our users instead of virtual wallets.
- Every new or existing user without an account number can request one when they want to fund their wallet.
- New users can create a Sycamore MFB account once they have completed all the requirements for a Tier 1 account.
Existing users with Wema or Providus virtual wallets will see a pop-up asking them to complete the outstanding Tier 1 requirements in line with our new onboarding structure. It is at this point that they will be able to create a Sycamore MFB account as their secondary account.
