What do I do if I don’t have a utility bill?

If you don’t have a physical utility bill for your current address, the easiest way to verify your account is to generate a digital receipt directly through the app.

You should note that if it is an electricity/water bill, it doesn't need to carry your exact name and can belong to your landlord(for instance).

How to do it:
  1. Go to your dashboard on the mobile app:
    Navigate to Bills & Airtime section on your home screen.
  2. Buy Electricity
    Select Electricity and enter the meter number for your current residence.
  3. Make a Minimum Purchase
    You can buy as little as the minimum allowed amount.
  4. Download Receipt
    Once the transaction is successful, go to your Transaction History and download the PDF receipt.
  5. Upload for Verification
    Return to the Verification/KYC screen and upload the PDF as your proof of address.

Note: Please ensure the address linked to the meter matches the address you provided in your profile.
