How do I create an account?

To get started with your profile creation, follow the steps below:

Email Verification:
Enter your email address and tap “Continue.” Check your email inbox for a verification message, then enter the 6-digit OTP (One-Time Password) on the verification page. Once completed, your email will be successfully verified. 

BVN Verification
Verify your BVN by entering your 11-digit BVN and your date of birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format.

• If you don’t remember your BVN, dial *565*0# using your registered phone number to retrieve it instantly.

• The details linked to your BVN—your full name, date of birth, gender, and phone number—will be used to create your profile.

• You can update your phone number later, but your name and date of birth cannot be changed.

Password Creation
Create your password by choosing one that is at least 8 characters long and includes a mix of letters and numbers. Confirm it in the second field.

Referral Code (Optional)

If you were referred to Sycamore, you can enter a referral code or tag at this stage.

Transaction PIN Creation:
Set up your 6-digit transaction PIN. This is different from your password and will be required to authorize transactions and log into the app.

• Do not share your PIN with anyone.

• Choose a PIN that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.

• Avoid simple sequences like 123456 or repeated digits like 111111.

Once all these steps are completed, your Sycamore profile will be successfully created. To start using your account, you’ll need to upgrade to Tier 1, which activates the first level of functionality.
