Next of Kin Update:
This step is providing your next of kin's full name, email address, phone number, residential address, their date of birth, your relationship to them, and their nationality. Then tap "Save Details & Proceed."

This is a standard financial requirement and ensures that there is a trusted contact associated with your account in case of emergencies.

Phone number Verification:
Next, you’ll verify your phone number.

  • Enter your phone number, ideally the same one linked to your BVN. If you do not have access to the phone number linked to your BVN, feel free to change it at this point.
  • Tap "Verify" and we'll send a one-time code to that number.
  • You’ll enter your number and receive a code via SMS to confirm it.
  • Enter the 6-digit code sent to your phone number. If it hasn't arrived after 59 seconds, tap "Resend SMS."  You also have the options to receive this code via whatsapp and a phone call.

This step strengthens your account security and ensures that important alerts reach you directly.

NIN Verification:
You’ll also be asked to provide your National Identification Number (NIN).

Enter your 11-digit NIN in the field provided. Don't know your NIN? Dial *346# on your registered phone to retrieve it instantly.

This adds another layer of identity verification and further secures your account.

Once these steps are completed, your Tier 2 upgrade is approved. You’ll notice an immediate increase in your transaction limits, it will be upgraded to:

  • Tier 2 single transaction limit: ₦100,000

  • Daily transaction limit: ₦500,000

  • Max Cumulative Balance : ₦500,000
